Bashkim is firing a piece of jewelry while Faik is explaining the basic idea. After firing a jewelry piece, the silver metal becomes soft and workable again. This allows Bashkim to continue adding to the piece and bending it. When it becomes hard again, Bashkim will repeat this process.
